A Joint Powers Authority between the Cities of El
Cajon, La Mesa and Santee and Fire Protection
Districts: San Miguel and Lakeside. City Council
Resolution 44-74 was adopted to form the Authority
and in turn each agency approved. Resolution 92-86
increased the number of members of the Commission
and designated the method of appointment from
three members appointed by the City Council to
5 members representing each participating agency.
