The
Planning Division is responsible for the review
of development proposals that come to the City
in the form of Planning applications and building
permits. Most of these applications are considered
by the Planning Commission and City Council at
public hearings with agenda reports prepared by
the staff. The Planning Division also conducts
special studies including amendments of the General
Plan and the Zoning
Ordinance.
