The City Manager supports the City Council's goals and objectives through the appointment and development of staff, enactment of policies and procedures to efficiently and effectively carry out the City Council's directives, presentation and monitoring of a fiscally sound operating budget, and recommendations for innovations and improvement in the provision of public services. Additionally, the City Manager serves as the Executive Director of the City's Redevelopment Agency.
