In December 2001, the Agency entered into an Affordable Housing Agreement with Homestart, LLC for the purpose of acquiring and converting a 24 unit apartment complex into condominiums.  All 24 units were sold to low and moderate income first time homebuyers under a 15-year Resale Restriction Agreement and Option to Purchase.  The project was completed in 2003 and the Agency’s total investment was $1.6 million to assist in site acquisition and conversion of units from apartments to condominiums.
