The Engineering Division processes all improvement requirements with development, all improvement plans, permits for the work in the public rights-of-way, and the requirements for all lot splits and subdivisions. The division also designs and administers the construction of all city public improvement projects. The division is responsible for the administration and enforcement of the storm water regulations. Any grading activity on public or private property must be permitted by this division to assure that all requirements will be met, the grading is done to the city's standards and the storm water regulations are adhered to.
